Matcha Uji Japan NARINO 成里乃

This is a single origin of the new Narino variety, which originated from the "Okunoyama" tea plantation that has been in existence since the Muromachi period (1333-1568).



This variety is characterized by its strong sweetness, and it has been proven to contain nearly twice as much theanine, the source of umami, as other matcha varieties. It has such a strong "umami" flavor that people say they can drink matcha alone without sweets, and it has a full aroma and rich taste that is hard to find in other varieties.
