Pure natural black tea powder made from high quality Ceylon black tea, carefully ground to a fine powder without sacrificing color or flavor. It is widely used in confectionery and baking. The tea powder is made by carefully grinding high quality raw materials to a fineness of around 10 microns without sacrificing color or flavor. This size is 10 microns (0.01mm), an extremely small grain (average flour is 50 microns), which allows the tea leaves alone to add color when kneaded into ingredients, without leaving visible grains as is the case with fannings.
